Hello World: Welcome to RazorWorks

Hello World: Welcome to RazorWorks

There’s a moment in every workshop when the lights flick on, the dust settles, and you look around and think, Alright. Time to build something worth a damn.

That’s what this first post is.

RazorWorks has been in motion for 2+ years and 400+ prototypes — aluminum on machines, prototypes on the bench, ideas scribbled on scrap paper — but this is the first time we’re opening the doors and letting you walk right in. If you’re reading this, you’re officially part of the crew.

This blog is where I’ll share what really goes into making a razor that doesn’t just shave — it performs. You’ll see the behind‑the‑scenes work, the experiments, the failures that taught me something, and the wins that made it all worth it. You’ll get the techniques that lead to irritation‑free shaving, the kind of tips you wish someone told you years ago, and the occasional rant about why disposable culture is slowly turning us all into zombies with razor burn.

I’m not here to lecture. I’m here to teach, to share, and to make shaving something you actually look forward to. And yeah — I’ll show you the tools we make along the way. Not with a hard sell, but with the same honesty I’d give a friend standing in the shop asking, “Alright, what should I actually be using?”

Every post will be short, sharp, and useful. A single gritty photo. A story or a lesson. Something you can take with you the next time you’re standing in front of the mirror wondering why your face feels like it lost a fight with sandpaper.

One year from now, this place will be stacked with knowledge, cheeky jokes, and a whole lot of good shaving. But for now, this is the first cut. The first pass. The first step toward irritation‑free shaving done right.

Welcome to RazorWorks.

Stay sharp.
